Guitar Repairs
The Worx Studio has a list of craftsmen who are great at what they do. From delicate fretwork repair to re-energizing vintage instruments, you can count on them for very professional work at a rate you can afford. You owe it to yourself to get the right craftsman to treat your guitar like it was a member of your family. Don’t despair, get the right repair.
Grant’s total lack of musical ability has never affected his passion for acoustic guitars and, although he is a “three-chord-hack” at best, his talents lie in the way of restoration and repairs. With an innate and life-long need to make broken things “unbroken”, Grant has recently focused all his problem solving and “fixin” skills towards satisfying his love of guitars. Completely self-taught and proud of his status as a “successful hobbyist”, Grant has been developing his skills since the spring of 2019. In that time, he has successfully repaired or restored approximately 40 stringed instruments, including guitars, a mandolin, a violin, a tenor guitar, a few ukuleles, and a kobza.
Grant’s primary focus is on vintage instruments, or other instruments that everyone else had given up on as being “unrepairable”. Grant does not claim to be a luthier and credits a lot of his success simply to just not knowing any better, as well as from a lot of trial-and-error.
